S&P Global Platts is clarifying the T2 ethanol sustainability clause with regards to the proof of sustainability transfer framework, effective Friday, October 5, 2018.
Platts reflects in its Market on Close price assessment process fuel ethanol that holds proof of sustainability obtained in the framework of voluntary schemes approved by the EU Commission.
Platts clarifies that upon buyers' request, the seller shall exercise reasonable efforts to provide all necessary documentation for validation of the product batch against Germany's biomass web application system Nabisy.
