Please note that effective Friday, October 5, 2018, S&P Global Platts will amend the ECA and non-ECA distances for Chinese ports that are used for the $/FEU bunker cost calculations on the following assessments:

China's new regulation on ship emission control areas came into effect on October 1, 2018.
All ships entering ports near the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai Sea shall use the fuel with sulfur content not exceeding 0.5%.
The voyage durations used in Platts calculations for PBC assessments are arrived at by extensive market survey and are basis vessels proceeding on a round voyage to ports in geographical rotation.
