Platts proposes to change specifications for Methane Performance Certificates assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to remove the requirement for continuous monitoring in the specifications for its Methane Performance Certificates (MPCs) assessment, effective Nov.15, 2023.

It is intended that this change would better align with evolving market sentiment surrounding measurement, monitoring, reporting and verification.

All other specifications for the assessment would remain unchanged.
