Platts to publish intraday uranium prices starting Oct. 5

As part of the continuing development of our U3O8 uranium price assessment process, Platts — part of S&P Global Commodity Insights — will commence publishing intraday prices starting Oct. 5, 2022.

The intradays will provide a prevailing market valuation as observed by Platts for U3O8 delivered to Canada for the current month (M1), next month (M2) and locational differentials to France and the US. Platts intends to publish the intraday values as of 10:30 am ET.

These values are intended to provide the market with price levels, observed by Platts, based on available information at the start of the formal Market on Close (MOC) price assessment process. This aids data testing and encourages further participation in the MOC itself. The intradays will be published as heards on our real time services along with all other relevant market information.
