Platts changes petrochemical weekly methanol contract price to monthly publishing

Platts will be publishing the monthly contract prices for the following petrochemical assessment once per month, changing from publishing once per week effective Oct. 3, 2022.

Under this change the monthly methanol contract price will now be published on the first working day of the month for which it settled. For example, when September methanol settles the last week of August, the price will be published for Sept. 1. Prices were previously published every Friday of the month for which the contract settled.

The changes will affect the following assessment:
