S&P Global Platts wishes to clarify its metallurgical coal CFR India netforward calculations.

CFR India netforwards

The CFR India prices for Premium Low Vol, Peak Downs, HCC, Low Vol PCI and semi-soft coking coal are calculated as a sum of respective FOB Australia assessments and a Panamax dry bulk freight on the Australia-India route (CDBFAI0).

CFR India Premium Low Vol (PLVHI00) = FOB Australia Premium Low Vol (PLVHA00) plus freight.

CFR India Peak Downs Region (HCCGI00) = FOB Australia HCC Peak Downs (HCCGA00) plus freight.

CFR India HCC 64 Mid Vol (HCCIN00) = FOB Australia Hard Coking Coal (HCCAU00) plus freight.

CFR India Low Vol PCI CFR India (MCLVI00) = FOB Australia Low Vol PCI (MCLVA00) plus freight.

CFR India Mid Tier PCI CFR India (MCVAI00) = FOB Australia Mid Tier PCI (MCLAA00) plus freight.

CFR India Semi-Soft Coking Coal CFR India (MCSSI00) = FOB Australia Semi Soft Coking Coal (MCSSA00) plus freight.
