Platts formalizes FOB Baltic/Black Sea ammonium nitrate assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has formalized its weekly FOB Baltic/Black Sea ammonium nitrate (AN) range assessment.

The assessment, published as a low-high range, comprises the lowest and highest values from Platts weekly FOB Baltic AN (FANBA04) and FOB Black Sea AN (FANBB04) assessments, and has been available under the symbol FANBA00 on Platts Connect since Sept. 5, 2024.

The FOB Baltic/Black Sea AN assessment will also be published in the Nitrogen Market Report from Oct. 10, 2024.

The assessment was previously published in the Nitrates Market Report PDF but not published in the Platts database.
