SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish Troll CIF Rotterdam crude assessments

As part of S&P Global Platts' move to reflect Norway's Troll crude in the Dated Brent basket, Platts will start publishing Troll CIF basis Rotterdam outright and differential price assessments on December 1, 2017.

These assessments will be published in addition to Platts' existing Brent, Forties, Oseberg and Ekofisk CIF basis Rotterdam outright and differential price assessments.

Platts will publish Troll CIF basis Rotterdam as both an outright price, representing value for Troll delivered 12 days to one month ahead, as well as a differential price to the forward Dated Brent market. In the absence of any bids, offers or trades, Platts will assess Troll CIF basis Rotterdam on the basis of freight and other market indicators.
