European gas time stamp alignment

Platts will move the market-on-close (MOC) time stamps for daily continental European Day Ahead gas assessments to 16:30 London time effective November 1, 2009 in order to align them with the UK Day Ahead assessments.

Also, effective November 1, Platts will move the MOC time stamps for daily continental European and UK gas forward assessments to 16:30 London time.

As a result, all Platts European and UK gas assessments will be aligned at 16:30 London time.

The decision follows consultation with the industry over a two-month period.
