Following a review of recognized additives in the FOB Singapore gasoil Platts Market on Close assessment process, S&P Global Platts has begun reflecting Infineum's R210 additive with effect from Oct. 1, 2021.
The R210 additive is a cold flow improver by Infineum.
Platts first proposed the addition of the new additive on June 4, 2021: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/060421-platts-proposes-including-infineum-r210-additive-in-singapore-gasoil
Platts has added the additive to the list of recognized additives reflected in its assessment process. The list of recognized additives is intended to provide clarity to market participants regarding which additives are generally considered to be merchantable and accepted for cargoes delivered through the MOC process in Singapore.
Platts does not align its FOB Singapore additives acceptance to any particular importing country.
For the full list of previously recognized additives, please see http://plts.co/V0Ax30ru2Yi. The list of identified additives is not exhaustive and Platts continuously reviews the list.
