SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches Spanish AOC gas assessments

Effective Thursday, October 1, 2015, Platts has launched daily assessments in Eur/MWh of over-the-counter month-ahead Spanish AOC gas.

The assessments are converted to p/th, $/MMBtu and Eur/Gj.

AOC month-ahead symbols are as follows: Eur/MWh GAOCA00, p/th GAOCD00, $/MMBtu GAOCC00 and Eur/Gj GAOCB00.

The AOC assessments in Eur/MWh, p/th and $/MMBtu are published in Platts European Gas Daily, on Platts European Power Alert page 823, Natural Gas Alert page 56 and in Platts Market Data category EG.

Conversions to Eur/Gj are published on European Power Alert, Natural Gas Alert and in Market Data category EG.

A monthly average of the prior month's month-ahead AOC gas assessment will calculate with effect from November 1, 2015.

Effective October 1, Platts has also launched daily Spanish AOC/LNG differential prices for the month-ahead.

The differentials are calculated in Eur/MWh and converted to $/MMBtu, p/th and Eur/Gj.

AOC/LNG differentials in Eur/MWh, $/MMBtu and p/th are published in European Gas Daily, on Platts European Power Alert page 825, Natural Gas Alert page 58 and in Platts Market Data category EG.

Conversions to Eur/Gj are published on European Power Alert, Natural Gas Alert and in Market Data category EG.

Symbols for the month-ahead AOC/LNG differentials are as follows: Eur/MWh GAOCE00, $/MMBtu GAOCG00, p/th GAOCH00 and Eur/Gj GAOCF00. Effective November 2, 2015, Platts will also add spark spread indicators base on Spanish AOC month-ahead gas and Spanish month-ahead power assessments, and clean spark spread indicators to include the cost of emissions -- calculated from the spark spreads and taking into account Platts EUA emissions assessments.
