Subscriber note: Platts refocuses Spanish power assessments

Following a period of consultation, Platts has refocused its Spanish power assessments by concentrating on contract periods with higher liquidity. Effective October 1, 2013, Platts has launched a daily assessment of weekend baseload power and discontinued the existing daily assessments of the less liquid balance-of-month and balance-of-year contracts. Assessments are published on page 81 of European Power Alert, in European Power Daily and in Platts market data.
