Please note that Platts has launched assessments for regular and premium grade, suboctane gasoline for Portland and Seattle, with effect from October 1. These new assessments follow Platts' proposal, published on August 23, to change specifications for its Portland and Seattle gasoline assessments in line with evolving gasoline standards in the US West Coast.
The new assessments reflect 84 octane, conventional suboctane gasoline and 90 octane, premium suboctane gasoline. These specifications reflect current standards applicable to the Olympic Pipeline system shipments. These assessments will be published on PGA pages 350 and 158, and in US Marketscan, Oilgram Price Report and Asia Pacific/Arab Gulf Marketscan.
Platts has separately announced plans to discontinue assessments for finished regular and premium gasoline in both locations, with effect from March 1, 2014.
