Subscriber note: Platts USAC fuel oil eWindow to use industry standards

Subscriber note: Effective Friday, October 5, Platts will launch eWindow technology to facilitate its US Atlantic Coast physical fuel oil Market on Close assessment process. In the new environment, market makers will be able to enter terms, quality, and conditions for their USAC fuel oil MOC positions in the TQC text field. As space is limited in that field, please note that all MOC positions implicitly include the following Platts standards unless stated otherwise in said position: The buyer has other US New York Harbor port options at charter party spot freight differentials and in one or two bottoms (vessels). The seller is to deliver the product on equipment that complies with: 750 load max, 106 beam max, 37 feet brackish water arrival draft max, in a vessel, or vessels, approved by two major US oil companies. Public terminals are as per Platt's specifications. The product shall contain no lubes or waste oil, and must have a 120-degree Fahrenheit delivery temperature. Other terms per normal industry practice. For questions or comments, please contact Esa Ramasamy, esa_ramasamy@platts.com, with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com.
