Platts proposes to launch intraday cash assessments for CBOB gasoline markets in the US Gulf Coast, Chicago and New York Harbor on December 3, 2012. As with Platts' existing intraday indicators, these figures will be updated hourly from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time. US Gulf Coast assessments will reflect CBOB moving on the prompt cycle of the Colonial Pipeline, with input at Pasadena, Texas. Chicago assessments will reflect prompt barrels delivered into Chicago through any of the major pipelines that supply the city, including the Kaneb, Wolverine, West Shore, or Badger pipelines. New York Harbor assessments are for barges loading 3-7 days forward Monday through Wednesday, and 5-9 days forward on Thursday and Friday. Please send questions and comments by November 1 to americas_products@platts.com, with a CC to pricegroup@platts.com.
