Platts to discontinue duplicate symbols for some Petrobras bunkers prices

Platts, a part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue publishing duplicate symbols for certain Petrobras bunkers posted prices, effective Oct. 3, 2022.

The original symbols will continue to database the Petrobras bunkers posted prices. Only the duplicate symbols will be discontinued.

The discontinuation affects the following codes:

LGPNG00, MGPNG00: Petrobras Marine Gasoil Dlvd Paranagua

LGRIO00, MGRIO00: Petrobas Marine Gasoil Dlvd Rio de Janeiro

These symbols will continue to be databased and can be used as alternatives to the duplicates above:

PBABS00: Petrobas Marine Gasoil Dlvd Paranagua

PBABU00: Petrobas Marine Gasoil Dlvd Rio de Janeiro

The duplicate symbols appear in the Price Point Database. The active symbols that will continue publishing as normal and will remain in all the fixed pages and publications.
