Platts discontinues rationales for Russian wheat coaster assessments

In line with the company's increasing focus on the deep sea Black Sea wheat market, Platts is discontinuing two of its published rationales for Black Sea shallow water wheat coasters, effective Dec. 1, 2021.

This change affects the FOB Azov 12.5% protein wheat rationale and the CIF Marmara 13.5% protein wheat rationale. These rationales appear in the Daily Grains PDF publication and on Platts Agricultural Alert pages 1691 and 1693.

The assessments of FOB Azov 12.5% protein wheat and CIF Marmara 13.5% protein wheat are not affected by this change.
