SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies FOB USG methanol M1 and M2 assessment roll dates

Platts changes the current delivery month into next delivery month five (5) calendar days prior to the end of the month for Platts FOB USG methanol M1 and M2 assessments. If this day falls on a weekend or holiday, Platts will roll its US spot methanol assessments to the next month on the next business day.

The daily methanol FOB USG M1 cents/gal assessment appears in the Platts price assessment database under code AAIKU00, while the M1 cents/gal weekly average appears under code AAIUX00 and the M1 cents/gal monthly average appears under code AAIKV00. The daily methanol FOB USG M2 cents/gal assessment appears in the Platts price assessment database under code AAIKY00, while the M2 cents/gal weekly average appears under code AAIKY04 and the M2 cents/gal monthly average appears under code PHMFA03.

The FOB USG methanol M1 and M2 assessments also appear in Platts Petrochemical Alert pages 347, 349, 426, 434, 541, and 872. In addition, these assessments appear in the Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan.
