3:15 p.m. ET futures spread to be published from October 3

On October 3, 2011, Platts will begin publishing spread values reflecting the difference between the NYMEX 2:30 p.m. ET settlement for crude oil, heating oil, and RBOB gasoline and Platts futures assessments at 3:15 p.m. ET.

The spreads will roll to the next month on the day of expiration, one day earlier than the front-month contract for all three commodities.

Platts will publish spreads for the first two contract months for light sweet crude, RBOB gasoline, and heating oil in Platts Global Alert, US Marketscan, and Oilgram Price Report. The spreads will also be available in Platts Market Data products.
