SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to launch JKM derivative London close assessments

S&P Global Platts is seeking feedback on a proposal to launch assessments of LNG derivatives (JKM Swaps) at London close from December 3, 2018.

The JKM derivative contract periods assessed would be: the front three prompt months, two quarters and a calendar year. The Platts JKM derivative assessments would be published each business day and reflect market values prevailing at the close of European markets, at 4:30 pm London time. All prices would be quoted in US dollars per million British Thermal Units ($/MMBtu) to three decimal places.

Platts is also seeking feedback on the number of lots to be reflected as the basis of the forward curve assessment.
