Effective October 1 2012, Platts will cease publishing a differential for Vietnam's Bach Ho crude oil against its own Official Selling Price, because Vietnam has stopped issuing a Bach Ho OSP. Currently, Bach Ho crude trades as a differential to Dated Brent. Platts currently assesses Bach Ho on an outright price basis at the close of trading in Asia and London, and as a differential to Asian Dated Brent. These assessments, which carry the codes of PCAHY00, AAPAJ00 and AAPAK00 respectively, will continue to be published on Platts Global Alert (PGA) page 2216, and in Platts Crude Oil Marketwire. Platts will, however, cease publication of the differential to the Bach Ho OSP, which carries the code AAPEY00 in its publications. Please send all comments and queries to asia_crude@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
