Beginning May 1, 2011, and owing to very low production of off-road diesel fuel in the US Midwest and the subsequent absence of spot market activity in this market, Platts proposes to discontinue the Chicago low sulfur off-road diesel fuel assessment.
Platts introduced the off-road low-sulfur diesel FOB Chicago Pipeline assessment with code AATGU00 on May 1, 2006, and it currently appears on Platts Global Alert page 572, in Oilgram Price Report and US Marketscan.
Comments must be received by November 1, 2010, and should be directed to bridget_brown@platts.com and esa_ramasamay@platts.com with a cc to pricegroup@platts.
