Further to a previous announcement, and following market feedback, Platts is reviewing a previous proposal to adjust the reference density in all European and Mediterranean ULSD assessment processes to 0.842 mg/ml.
Platts would not consider any implementation any earlier than January 3, 2012, to change the density reflected in all European ULSD assessment processes to a range of 0.820 mg/ml to 0.845 mg/ml, with all indications being normalized to reflect a density of 0.842 mg/ml.
The current density for Platts European diesel assessments is in the range of 0.820 to 0.845 mg/ml, with all indications normalized to reflect a 0.845 mg/ml density.
