The UK's new diesel specification with a filter blocking tendency limit will become effective on November 1, 2015.
For cargoes delivered in the UK and from the start of October 2015, Platts will reflect bids for UK diesel with maximum FBT of 2.52 in its Northwest European diesel cargo assessments, but will continue to normalize them back to the value of French diesel specification.
Platts will continue to reflect French specification for all its European cargo assessments, including its UK diesel cargo netback, and to reflect German specification for its ARA diesel barge assessment.
