Platts to move petrochemicals assessments to Friday

Platts will change the publication day for its weekly PTA assessments from Thursday to Friday, starting week of September 1.

This change will affect US, European and Asian PTA assessments.

From September 4, subscribers will be able to access the assessments and commentaries via Platts Petrochemical Alert realtime service (pages PCA 179, 691, 509 and 532 respectively) as well as the Asian Petrochemicalscan.

In addition, the weekly average for the daily CFR China PTA price will reflect the mathematical calculation of the typical Monday to Friday business week.

Pages PCA 244 (NWE, US Petrochemical intermediates prices) and PCA 458 (Asian Petrochemical intermediates prices), will also be published on Friday.
