Changes to European Guarantee of Origin assessment methodology

Due to increased liquidity in the renewable energy certificates sector as well as our commitment to increase coverage in this emerging area, S&P Global Platts is pleased to announce that it increased the frequency of European Guarantee of Origin price assessments to a daily basis as of Monday September 23, 2019.

As a result, the market-on-close for the Nordic Hydro and EU Wind assessments will change to a daily 16.30 London timestamp as of September 23.

These changes will affect the following price symbols:

Nordic Hydro Current Year - NHGY004

Nordic Hydro Year Ahead - NHGY104

EU Wind Current Year - EWGY004

EU Wind Current Year - EWGY104

The new daily assessments will appear on European Power Daily on the fixed pages 1100 and 1101.
