SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch daily EU feed wheat, corn assessments Oct 1

Platts is to start assessing EU feed wheat and EU corn on a CIF Netherlands basis from October 1, 2015, following proposals initially published in August.

The daily assessments will launch on October 1, 2015 and reflect the daily traded or tradable value of cargoes of CIF corn and CIF feed wheat, basis the Netherlands, at 1630 London time. Quality specifications will be normalized to standard requirements for corn and to meet prevailing requirements for feed grade wheat. Per Platts' methodology, the assessments will be made using transactional information collected and published daily, including transactions, bids and offers.

The assessments will be available in Biofuelscan, on Platts Biofuels Alert and in Platts Market Data category BF.
