ArcelorMittal has clarified that in its link up with the Catalyst program set up by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, founded by entrepreneur Bill Gates, the steelmaker has committed to investing a total of $100 million over the next five years to develop decarbonization technologies under the scheme, not $100 million annually as was specified in the article carried in the Sept. 21 edition of Steel Business Briefing and in the Sept. 20 editions of SBB Steel Markets Daily and Metals Daily.
