SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies gasoil 0.1% cargoes CIF NWE specification wording

Please note that S&P Global Platts has clarified the wording of the specification reflected in its gasoil 0.1% CIF NWE assessment.

The specification reflected in the assessment reads as follows:

This assessment reflects French Fuel Oil Domestique (FOD) quality gasoil fuel with a maximum sulfur of 0.1% and normalized to specific gravity of 0.845 kg/l. Platts also publishes bids, offers and trades for other qualities, including Spanish (B&C) and German Deutsche Industrie Norm (DIN) quality gasoil, which may be normalized to the benchmark specification.

This clarification follows the update of the European and African refined oil products methodology and specification guide due to a previous typographical error. The clarification does not materially affect the assessment which continues to reflect the same specification.
