New folder to be added to the Platts FTP site on Sept 26

On Monday, September 26, 2011, Platts will launch a new service, Platts eWindow Market Data. The eWindow Market Data products will deliver all bids, offers and transaction data submitted through eWindow during the Platts Market-on-Close (MOC) assessment process.

The daily comma-delimited (.csv format) files will enable current Platts Global Alert (PGA), Petrochemical Alert (PCA) and LPGaswire subscribers to easily integrate and analyze historical market trends and trading patterns.

Files for the new service will be delivered via the Platts FTP site, ftp.platts.com. In order to separate the eWindow files from the existing Market Data price and symbol files, a new 'eWindow_Market_Data' folder will be added to the FTP site starting Sept 26, at the same level as the existing 'today', 'symbols', etc folders. This new folder will not affect existing users, since only eWindow Market Data subscribers will have access to the files under it.
