S&P Global Platts is proposing to change the basis of its LNG Middle East Marker (MEM) from Ain Sukhna, Egypt, due to declining LNG import demand, effective December 3, 2018.
Under this proposal, the ports of Mina Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, and Jebel Ali, UAE, would become the base locations for the MEM assessment.
Platts invites all questions and feedback to lng@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com by October 9.
