SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue aluminum in-warehouse Singapore

Following a period of industry feedback, S&P Global Platts will discontinue publication of the aluminum in-warehouse Singapore weekly assessment (price symbol: MMAMY00), from November 21, 2018.

The final value for this assessment will be published on November 14, 2018.

As Platts has reported, physical spot activity for this market has significantly fallen in recent years, due to the lack of a physical consumer base.

Market participants have provided feedback that this premium is no longer relevant pricing basis in the physical market, and do not serve a purpose as an industry reference.
