Platts is opening a one-month consultation period on whether oxygenate limits currently reflected in its European naphtha assessments should be reviewed further. Platts currently reflects merchantable quality, open specification naphtha in its European CIF NWE physical naphtha assessment. Such quality is currently considered to have a maximum MTBE content of 50 ppm and a total oxygenate content of 100 ppm. Please send any comments or questions to europe_products@platts.com with a CC to pricegroup@platts.com by October 15, 2012.
