Platts confirms that it will discontinue sugar freight assessments for six routes with effect from October 20, 2014, reflecting changes in supply flows that have made the routes less commonly used in the market. Platts will discontinue six of its bulk and bagged sugar freight assessments for the following routes:
Bulk: Guatemala Black Sea Thailand-China Bagged: South Brazil-Bangladesh South Brazil-East Coast Africa Thailand-Bangladesh Thailand-West Coast Africa
