Subscriber note: Platts to launch ICE Brent NX assessments Oct 1

Platts proposes to assess the value of ICE Brent NX futures with effect from October 1, 2012. The assessments, which would be published for the front four contracts listed on ICE Futures, will reflect the prevailing value of the contracts at precisely 4:30 pm in London. Platts further proposes to extend its current assessments of the legacy ICE Brent futures contracts to include the fourth front month contract listed on ICE Futures. Platts currently publishes ICE Brent futures assessments reflecting prevailing values at 4:30pm London time for the front three month contracts listed on ICE. These new assessments will appear on Platts Global Alert pages 704 and 703, as well as in Crude Oil Marketwire and Oilgram Price Report.
