Platts to launch US gasoline, diesel assessments excluding RVO from Oct 1
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch assessments for US gasoline and diesel excluding Renewable Volume Obligation values, with effect from Oct. 1, 2025.
The launch of these new assessments aims to provide greater transparency to the US refined products market, where RVO values are excluded for gasoline and diesel in some cases.
The new daily assessments and their respective monthly averages will reflect the value of gasoline and diesel, excluding the RVO value, published on an outright basis in US cents/gal.
All of the new assessments will reflect a 1:30 pm CT Houston close and will follow the Houston publishing schedule.
These new daily assessments, their descriptions and their corresponding symbols can be found below and may be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet available here. Monthly averages will be available on the corresponding fixed pages.
