SUBSCRIBER NOTE: CTI to publish more daily dry bulk freight assessments

Platts would like to inform subscribers that the Current Typical Spot Freight Rates supplied by Simpson, Spence & Young (SSY) on a weekly basis will no longer be available in Coal Trader International. Instead, as of Friday, September 19, Platts will commence publishing its own equivalent dry bulk freight spot assessments on a daily basis. As a result of this transition, the formula for the calculation of the Freight Differential price (code CSCCE00) published in Coal Trader International will now include the Platts Richards Bay-Rotterdam Capesize assessment instead of the price previously provided by SSY.
