Platts to issue Brent methodology statement Friday

Platts plans to issue a statement regarding its Brent assessment methodology on Friday, September 16, 2011, at 1330 London time (1230 GMT).

The statement will be issued through its real time information service, Platts Global Alert.

The methodology statement follows proposals published on July 15 to update Platts' Brent methodology.
