Platts to publish Asia, Mideast crude averages

Platts proposes to start publishing monthly averages for its Asia Pacific and Middle East crude assessments on Platts Global Alert with effect from November 1, 2011, in line with a planned revamp of all crude pages.

Platts has previously published monthly averages for these crudes in Oilgram Price Report, and in the Platts Market Price database.

As announced in June, Platts will publish midpoints to three decimal places for averages, where they are not already published to three decimal places.
