Platts is considering the Ticen Sun and the Titan Gemini as additional delivery points in the FOB Singapore fuel oil assessment process.
Both vessels are operated by Titan Storage Limited and are classed as floating storage units (FSU).
The Ticen Sun is anchored at Tanjung Pelepas and the Titan Gemini at Pasir Gudang, both in the Johor province of southern Malaysia.
Platts' fuel oil methodology already includes deliveries made from landed storage at Pasir Gudang, plus storage vessels Kadriah 1, the Titan Chios and the Brilliant Jewel in southern Malaysia.
The Titan-operated Ticen Ocean is also under consideration.
The same standards will apply to the Ticen Sun that are applied to other storage vessels.
The FAQ document on Kadriah 1 can be found at: MethodologyAndSpecifications.aspx.
