Platts proposes to amend payment terms for selected rice assessments Nov 1

Platts, a division of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to amend the payment terms reflected in a number of its rice price assessments, effective Nov. 1

The proposed changes are intended to ensure Platts assessments better reflect typical trade practices in the global rice market.

Platts proposes to change the payment terms reflected in a number of its rice price assessments covering Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

There would be no change to the payment terms reflected by Platts Vietnamese rice coverage.

All assessments appear on Platts Connect, as well as in the Rice Daily publication for daily assessments, and Rice Weekly for weekly assessments.
