Platts confirms that with effect from January 2, 2015 it will change the size of its Medium Range clean assessments for cargoes moving from the Mediterranean to the US Gulf Coast and US Atlantic Coast. This change was proposed on July 15, 2014.
These assessments currently reflect a 33kt cargo size. Platts will change the size reflected to 37kt, reflecting the fact that the majority of fixtures seen on this route are now typically 37kt in size.
These freight rate assessments are currently published in Platts Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page PGT 1910.
