Platts to update three Americas Urea Ammonium Nitrate price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will update the specifications of three Americas Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN) price assessments, effective Oct. 9, 2025.
The updates will include the introduction of a new "close" value and refining and amending specifications such as quality, quantity, basis and location for the assessments to better reflect market activity.
The adjusted specifications of the weekly assessments are detailed below:

Following the change, the low and high elements of the assessment would be standardized to $1/st below and above the assessed closed value.
