Platts proposes to update three Americas urea ammonium nitrate price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the specifications of three Americas urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) price assessments, effective Oct. 9, 2025.
The amendments would include introducing a new "close" value, as well as refining and amending specifications such as quality, quantity, basis and location, and timing for the assessments to better reflect market activity.
The adjustments and clarified specifications of the weekly assessments are detailed below:
