Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will change the laycan and the quality specifications of its recycled polyethylene terephthalate clear flakes assessments in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Southeast, and for food-grade pellets in Los Angeles to reflect current market practice, effective Oct. 14.
The changes were first proposed in the subscriber note published on Aug. 13, which can be found here.
The changes will affect the following daily assessments, in cents/lb, along with all associated $/mt conversion assessments and averages:
