Platts clarifies spot tanker freight UK Continent geographic description

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to clarify that the UK Continent region reflected in its tanker freight assessments extends from all ports west of Gibraltar to Hamburg, plus southern Sweden and western Norway.

Platts typically views the Oresund Bridge, joining Denmark and Sweden, as the eastern extent of this range.
