New Platts USAC 1%S resid strip, differentials

Platts will begin publishing a daily Mean of Platts US Atlantic Coast 1% sulfur residual fuel "strip" assessment, as well as the differential to that assessment, beginning October 1, 2010.

The US Atlantic Coast 1% sulfur strip refers to the average forward value for the US Atlantic Coast residual fuel oil assessment period of 10-25 days from date of publication.

In addition to the publication of the Strip, Platts will also publish the differential between No 6 0.3% HP, No 6 0.3% LP, No 6 0.7S, No 6 1S, No 6 2.2S MX and No 6 3.0S MX assessments and the Strip.

These assessments will appear in the US Marketscan and in Platts Global Alert page 50.
