SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts waterborne USGC oil products, blendstocks assessments

Effective September 5, 2017, S&P Global Platts will resume publishing bids and offers during the Market on Close assessment process for any waterborne refined products loading from or being delivered into the US Gulf Coast for laycans starting on or after September 15, 2017.

Platts suspended publication of US Gulf Coast bids and offers for waterborne products and blendstocks in the MOC process on August 29, 2017, as a result of the disruption caused by Hurricane Harvey.

The decision to resume publication of bids and offers covers the US Gulf Coast fuel oil, waterborne gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, heating oil, naphtha, gasoline blendstocks and Houston bunker fuel markets.

Where Platts assessments reflect loading dates prompter than September 15, Platts will take into consideration demonstrated market values for barges loading or delivered on or after September 15, as well as continuing to take into consideration differentials from relevant related markets.

Platts will continue to closely monitor the ongoing situation and invites further questions and comments.
