Following market feedback and significant upgrades to port infrastructure, S&P Global Platts proposes to amend the current load and discharge rates considered in the weekly sugar freight assessments. These changes will be effective from October 4, 2018.
Platts proposes to change the load/discharge rates on the Santos, Southeast Brazil, to Rizhao, North China, 50KT route (Platts code: SYCAC00) from 8,000/3,000 mt/day to 10,000/7,000 mt/day.
Platts also proposes to change the load/discharge rates on the Laem Chabang, Thailand, to Ciwandan, Indonesia, 25KT route (Platts code: SYCCA00) from 3,000/3,000 mt/day to 6,000/6,000 mt/day.
