SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to change delivery/payment specs for FOB Turkey rebar

Following a period of market feedback, Platts will change the delivery terms for its FOB Turkey rebar assessment (STCBM00) to 2-8 weeks and time normalize cargoes to the middle of this window. (The monthly average for this price series is STCBM00.)

At the same time, Platts will change the payment terms to "at sight," with all other payment terms normalized to this standard. These changes become effective October 1, 2015. All other specifications will remain the same. This change was first proposed in a note published August 5, 2015.

The assessment appears in the Daily Briefing, Platts Metals Alert (PMA 1263) and Steel Markets Daily.
